How should I store perfume?

The golden rule for perfume storage is to avoid direct sunlight, high temperatures and humidity, and sudden temperature changes. Ideally, store at room temperature in a dark, well-ventilated place. Environments with fluctuating temperatures such as windowsills, bathrooms, and car interiors should be avoided as they accelerate fragrance deterioration.

How can I use perfume effectively?

The optimal approach is to apply minimally to pulse points where body temperature is high (neck, wrists, chest). Rubbing causes top notes to dissipate quickly, so we recommend allowing natural drying without touching the skin after spraying. Lightly applying to the inside of clothing creates fragrance layers that last for extended periods.

Why doesn't the scent last?

The three main factors for poor longevity are:

1. Dry skin

Skin with less oil doesn't retain fragrance well, causing faster evaporation. Especially in winter when dryness intensifies, hydration makes a significant difference in longevity.

2. Temperature and humidity

Do perfumes have an expiration date?

Perfumes have no legally defined expiration date, but it's recommended to use them within approximately 3-5 years after opening. Fragrance changes (evaporation and oxidation) occur over time and depending on storage conditions, so quality can be maintained longer by storing in a dark place away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and humidity.
